The Wax Czar is the longest tenured member of the current staff here at Valley Sports Cards, Memorabilia & Picture Framing.  Richard was discovered by and lucky enough to have worked under our stores founder, Max Himmelstein.  After a brief stint in "real life" (Journalism degree at Gonzaga University), the prodigal son returned, chock full of school learnin', to apply himself to his real love....selling Wax Packs and kick-ass sports cards at an affordable price.  The Czar can now be found presiding over the vast inventory of our second location "Valley Sports Cards South" (30 steps, depending on shoe size and leg length, to the left of Valley Sports Cards, Memorabilia & Picture Framing.

Mr. Decker is one of the longest lasting customers we have here at Valley Sports Cards, Memorabilia & Picture Framing .  He has seen the store go through all of its phases of ownerships, floor layouts and fads.

His blog offers a unique blend of interviews of current and former players about their opening day memories and legal advice that culminates his love of baseball (especially the Yankees), his upbringing in New York and his 25+ years of experience as a lawyer.
